If it's a problem to watch Dodgeball an unhealthy amount of times, then I'll see you in group conseling! Dodgeball, Anchorman, and Old School are three movies I bought on DVD, watch often, and yet STILL stop to watch them everytime I flip by them on HBO. Dodgeball especially I recite while I'm waching it. But I agree - you just can't get enough of it.

For me it's The Freshman. Marlon Brando on ice skates, Bert Parks singing "Maggie's Farm," Matthew Broderick and Frank Whaley chasing that big lizard around the mall parking lot -- it's making me laugh just thinking about it.

Have to agree with many of the choices here, Dr Strangelove, Dodgeball, Airplane, Tap and many more.
Got to add Ruthless People. Danny Devito, Bette Middler, Helen Slater, Judge Reinhold and an early Bill Pullman. From the opening monologue with Devito telling his girlfriend how and why he's going to kill his wife to Bette Middler breaking down when she finds out she's been "marked down" ("I've been kiddnapped by K-Mart!") the movie is perfect. So many characters and plots all intertwined perfectly. A must see.

I can practically quote Anchorman word for word. My best friend and I find this endlessly hilarious. Most other people do not. We have decided not to care. Now, if you'll excuse me, time to musk up!

I was on an airplane the first time I saw Anchorman, and I laughed so hard the other passengers kept giving me "looks"! And I bought the DVD the minute I got home. My other big favorites are Tootsie, Young Frankenstein, and because I LOVE beauty pageant humor, Drop Dead Gorgeous and Miss Congeniality ( as you can see from my quote), are all high on my list!

The Emperor's New Groove is on right now and I forgot how awesome it is. When the jaguars are about to get Kuzco and the baby one pops out? I laughed for a good five minutes. I don't know why that was so funny.

I love Dodgeball!! That movie, and Coming to America, are two comedies that I will stop and watch on television no matter what I'm doing.
Also, my favorite Christmas movie is The Ref. "Lloyd, why don't you eat me?"
And despite the very sad reason the Owen Wilson thread was bumped up, it did remind me of Bottle Rocket... the last "caper" in the movie is, for me, one of the funniest 20 minutes on film.

Speaking of Owen Wilson, I loved his character in Meet the Parents.
On Jesus Christ: "He was a carpenter and I figured if you're going to follow in somebody's footsteps, why not the steps of our lord and savior?"
hehe!
And I loved the last line in the movie, where Ben Stiller is doing these karate chops at the camera: "Oh, it's a Jerusalem tulip... Jerusalem tulipsie what? tulip what? Oh, that's right. You don't know shit about flowers. Oh, you have another question? Well, I got another question for you. It's CAN YOU DEAL WITH THAT?"
