I'm sure someone has mentioned this, but score of The English Patient was wonderful. So moving.

Goodfellas is perfection when matching music to scenes, but my personal favorite is the first shot of the adult Henry Hill: "Stardust" is playing as the camera tilts from feet to his face, while Ray Liotta is taking a drag from his cigarette in his shiny gray suit. I've never found Liotta remotely attractive, but every time I watch that scene, he seems so terribly sexy & glamorous.
Top Hat: Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers, dancing to "Cheek to Cheek". Especially the moment when the music comes to a crescendo & pause, as he dips her nearly to the floor - I love every goofy, feathery-dress bit.

Sad as they are, all of the graveyard scenes from The Crow are among my favorite parts of that movie. The visuals were touching, but it was that gorgeous melancholy backround music that really made those scenes get to me.

How about the last scene in Trainspotting - where Renton is running off with the money. The music that went along with that whole sequence was awesome (as was the scene) (music was Born Slippy by Underworld).
I cannot NOT think of that scene when I hear that music. Which is fine because I love that movie - especially the ending, which was uplifting in a screwy way.
