At the end of Singin' in the Rain, when the boys raise the curtain. Even though the character is a classic, I love seeing Lina get her long-deserved comeuppance!
Also, when you see what's behind the Rita Hayworth poster in The Shawshank Redemption. Man, that was the greatest.

In Panic Room, when Jodie Foster's Meg calls Stephen and gets his girlfriend, an uncredited Nicole Kidman:
Heh. Like the laundry soap.

Best. Movie Moment. Ever.

I punched the air and gave a silent cheer, yes, when Simba claimed his birthright. And I don't normally care much for animation but - damn'!
I also am a bit mortified to recall that when I saw the first Rocky movie in a theatre, years ago, my cousin and I - both greatly disliking boxing and detesting Stallone in general - nontheless cheered at the end when Rocky - gulp - won the bout.

Gladiator when Maximus says softly, but oh-so-intently, "The time for honoring yourself will soon come to an end" to his arch-nemesis Caesar.
Then again, I want to shout out WORD! about fifteen minutes later (in between crying) after the Maximus dies in joust with Joaquin Phoenix and the sister says, "Honor him, for he was a soldier of Rome." So many move to carry him, including the little kid...and...see, I have chills even now.

Angie2, given the subject of this thread, I hate to bring up one teeeeeensy problem in your moment of cheer...
Dude, Rocky lost the fight with Apollo Creed in the original Rocky movie!
Now, don't get me wrong...I saw the movie in the theater back then too, and everyone was cheering for underdog Rocky (even those of us who hated boxing and didn't know who the hell Sylvester Stallone was at the time, which was virtually of us).
And about half the people I talked to afterwards described their happiness at Rocky winning at the end. But, y'know, he didn't. Rocky went the distance (which I suppose is a kind of winning, but not the kind that actually comes with prize money or a championship), and Adrian was proud of him, but Apollo Creed won the fight. I had people argue the point with me, enough so I went back and saw it again, just to make sure. Rocky lost that time, too, on a split decision by the judges.
But people were still cheering for him, and I don't blame you for doing the same.

The end of Cradle Will Rock always makes me cheer. The actors' union has prevented its members from performing a play that is, ironically enough, pro-union. The author is going to play the whole thing on his own, and begins singing the first song, when one of the actors begins singing the song from her seat. The ohters all join in and they perform the play from their seats.

ROTK where Theoden lines up the Roharim and picket fences his sword on their spears. "Spears will buckle and shields will break." They charge screaming "death"

Independence Day (save the cracks) has many. When Will Smith's girlfriend's dog reaches the supply closet before the fireball engulfs him. Bill Pullman's speech.
"We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanich without a fight! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!"
Then when the alien-abductee finally gets revenge and saves the base at the same time.
"Hello, boys... I'M BACK!"

When Jlo as Slim in Enough is kicking Billy Cambell's ass. No people, that is not the good part. The good part is that as she is doing that, they flashback to the times he bitchslapped her, kicked her, pulled her hair, etc. All in a row! Those flashbacks were wonderful. ;D
