... aaaand with the introduction of Meyer Lansky, I am completely lost. Rothstein, Capone, Torrio, Luciano, Lansky, various Irish and Italian hangers on, Chalky, Jimmy, the faceless hitman, who stole what from whom and shot this one in Chicago no maybe Atlantic City and now they're in New York... blahblahblah. Now there are more concubines and bring on the lesbians! I seriously had no idea who those two women in bed were until I read Tom & Lorenzo's recap today. I can't keep track of all this crap. Please, writers, start knitting these storylines together into something coherent!

LOL, I actually feel the same way. I've been watching each episode more or less as a story on its own because I can't keep it straight. The scene with the wife came out of nowhere for me. I thought they were ladies from the brothel because hey, the photography episode was two weeks ago at least. I like the idea of seeing the young gangsters but there are a LOT of them.

I still don't know who the lesbians were... I caught that one was Jimmy's baby mama, but who was the other... his mom? That's some straight up weird shit there.
I have to agree with the general opinion that the settings and costumes are pretty and appealing, but I need to care for a character if I am to continue watching, and so far I don't care for anyone except Nucky. And him only just a little.

It was Jimmy's baby's mama and the wife from the photo shop.

Ah, thanks. They are all blurring into one another to me.

That guy was played by Jack Huston, grandson of John and nephew of Angelica. He was excellent. Supposedly he's going to be in a few more episodes. Word. He's my favorite character so far. Also, he's pretty cute! /shallow

He is cute. Why couldn't they make Steve Buscemi wear the mask instead?

He's incredibly cute. And someone please tell me they're using makeup to age Buscemi.

Ha, I'd been blaming Sunday evening wine drinking for my inability to completely follow this show, but perhaps that's just part of it. There are definitely too many characters coming and going. I mainly watch the show for the old-timey scenery and because I like how Steve Buscemi and Michael Pitt are playing their characters, the ongoing story is definitely secondary to me. They do have the show available in the OnDemand section of my cable, I might try to re-watch some of the episodes and get a better idea of who's who.

This week's episode started to tie people back together, I thought.
