It will be interesting to see how her career develops. She's basically got everything going for her to be a huge star. She is genuinly talented and she's beautiful and her features(tall, blond hair, beautiful body) define what it is to be a major movie star. But for some reason I just don't find her very interesting. And even thought she is beautifull and has a perfect face, there's something rather boring about her beauty. She doesn't have anything that stands out.

For such a thin girl, she often looks really...doughy. Great legs, though.

I was a fan of the comic Aeon Flux. It bugs me that she would not wear the Aeon outfit. It's a leather tankini sort of thing the character wears. Instead she is in that st00pid looking black unitard.
The problem is, Aeon's outfit was so much a part of the character.

In Charlize's defence, I don't think she set out to criticize Halle Berry. I think the comment came during an interview for a women's magazine. Someone who was with Charlize during the interview (I think this was conducted on the set of a movie) commented on HB's post-Oscar choices, and Charlize said something like, "Note to self: don't be Halle Berry." Or something like that. It struck me as a spontaneous comment, not a deliberately catty one.

I saw the trailer for Aoen Flux and kept thinking "gee, this sounds familiar - oh wait - it's just like Kill Bill".
I know that the comic was already around but man KB was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw it.

I know that the comic was already around but man KB was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw it. Why do they keep getting it wrong? Halle's Catwoman didn't have enough clothes on and now Chalize's Aeon has too much. In Halle's case at least she looked toned. Even in the black leotard Charlize looks soft. I don't find her acrobatics all that convincing either.

I like Charlize Theron, but I think she was the wrong person for Aeon Flux. Someone like Carrie-Anne Moss would have been perfect if a bit predictable. I know they needed a big name that could "open" the film, but Charlize is just not Aeon.

She's just all wrong for this part. So much for not being Halle Berry, I guess. ETA: And the apple bong? Is awesome. My man can make a bong out of anything (seriously, anything!), but he has yet to spring an apple on me.

I totally disagree. I think it's a gimmick. Gay marriage is already legal in some countries (Sweden, Norway, and ?Canada?) as well as in some US states. I haven't exactly seen her campaigning for gay marriage here in S. Africa lately, so what exactly is she talking about?
She just sounds like an idiot saying something like that.
