I agree. And, again, I thought they did a good job explaining how a sympathetic character could act out like that.
I don't think Maya Rudolph is unattractive at all. I also think she's hilarious. She and Wiig pantomiming "Hold On" was great.

See, I was thinking of going to see this, but the comparisons to Muriel's Wedding really put me off. I really, really disliked that movie.

I hated Muriel's Wedding, but I loved this.

I hated Muriel's Wedding, but I loved this. Same here! Yay! So happy to finally find someone else that didn't think that movie was the bees' knees. I see what you mean about the two women being comparable, though.

I saw this yesterday at a theatre that was about 80%. Very funny.
The Irish cop was super charming. I always get the ugly carrot, too!

Chris O'Dowd has been cast in Apatow's Knocked Up spin-off about Paul Rudd & Leslie Mann's characters - he'll be a coworker of Rudd's. Double the hot man factor!

We finally got to see this after trying for three weeks and the matinee being sold out! Even today, we arrived at the theater twenty minutes early and had to sit on row three and crane our necks.
Melissa McCarthy made this movie. Everyone was funny but she stole it. The scene where she was driving down the road with the puppies, I cracked up. And when they went to try on dresses and she screams, "Look away! Look away!", we were dying laughing.
