Saw Days of Future Past today. I think I could stare into James McAvoy's blue eyes for hours even if he looked like a runt next to Hugh Jackman.
I really want to see a movie with all the XMen that were in the future. They were cool as sh*t.

I enjoyed Days of Future Past so long as I didn't think too long about the time travel stuff. It does amuse me that the first X-Men movie came out in what 2000? So between 1970 and 2000 Magneto goes from looking like Michael Fassbender to Ian McKellen. And Mystique goes from looking like Jennifer Lawrence to Rebecca Romijin. I guess shape shifting has its benefits.
Quicksilver had awful hair but he was definitely a highlight of the movie. The Avengers are going to have a tough time topping that with their version of Quicksilver. Especially since their version is being played by that human oatmeal Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
I think the next X-men is supposed to be set in the eighties. I would rather see one set in the future with the new ones too but I guess they want to keep with all the big names instead.

Saw Days of Future Past and enjoyed it. The only other X-Men related movie I've seen is The Wolverine. Mainly because Hugh Jackman = hot. So I guess it's not surprising I would enjoy a movie with a shot of his bare buttocks.
The scenes were Quicksilver were definitely my favorite. Aaron Taylor-Johnson better bring it or he's going to be back on the D-list. He's got something to be compared to now. Casting for the Avengers related movies has largely been excellent so him and Not-Twin-Olsen being cast is a bit of a headscratcher. I was so disappointed with him in Godzilla because I thought he was awesome in the Kickass movies. But I'm beginning to think those are the exception for him as he sucked in Anna Karenina too.
The rest of the cast - Fassbender, Lawrence, McAvoy, Dinklage, Page, et all were all great too.

I wanted to love Wolverine's origin story but it was sooo boring to me. I've seen all of them and First Class + DoFP are by far my favorites. I'm cool with all the casting, if they could just replace Halle Berry I'd be a happier camper. Fassbender & McAvoy bring a great hotness factor, while Stewart & McKellan are giants of their craft who I could watch (or follow around NYC wearing a bowler hat) all day. It's a toss-up as to who I'd rather see interacting. Also, IDK where I read it, but there was time travel question about Prof. X in First Class... He was still walking,>>> so does that mean he was taking Beast's serum all that time? And for that matter, why wouldn't Beast also take it (or is he at this point OK with himself as a mutant)? <<< I don't think too hard about all that stuff, but I'm tickled that DoFP negated nearly everything I hated about Last Stand. I didn't know Evan Peters could be funny. I'm definitely looking forward to more of him (and ITA, Aaron-Johnson Johnson-Johnson is a big fat yawn). p.s. this thread is for all the movies, right? Otherwise, derrrrrp.
