I started watching Devil on cable and ended up liking it. Even though the storyline was simplistic and somewhat predictable it was still entertaining and kept my attention. Not M. Night's best, but definitely not his his worst (that honor goes to Lady in the Water IMO). I looked him up on IMDB and his next film is a sci fi starring Will Smith and his son. Ugh. I think that might end up being M. Night's all time worse.

And therein lies the difference between John Cusack and someone like, say, Paul Rudd. I read an EW article recently about Wet Hot American Summer, which I've never seen, and I didn't realize that (a) it was kind of a dumb movie and (b) it had a very impressive cast of folks who weren't well-known then but became famous later. People like Rudd, David Hyde Pierce, Christopher Meloni, Molly Shannon, Amy Poehler, and Bradley Cooper. Those folks don't try to forget that they were in WHAS; they wax nostaligic about how much fun it was to make and what a blast they had together.

Shalamar, WHAS is one of my favourite films, one I watch repeatedly with the various audio tracks (including one with added farts whenever anyone jumps up or runs or shifts in their seat). If you like WHAS, you'll probably like "Childrens Hospital", too, as it springs from the same talent pool.

I spent the entire movie thinking that Logan Marshall-Green looks like an American Tom Hardy with better teeth.

HEE. I must see this movie. (One of my favorite extras on the Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle DVD was the "making of the toilet sequence". The foley artist (if that's the right word) was so proud of all the fart noises he was able to create; it was a joy to see someone have so much fun with his job! )

I genuinely think WHAS is a great movie, and not just in a campy, funny way. It's a good movie!

Citizen Kane is completely overrated and does not deserve all the hoopla over its 70th anniversary.

I didn't like The Notebook, and Ryan Gosling isn't that cute.
