Aw, Maggie. I know her last couple years weren't good ones, so I'm glad she found peace on St. Paddy's Day. I'll fix myself a drink in her honor.

Poor Kathy! She was so close to her mother and their love and support of each other was so apparent. I used to love watching their interactions on her show--they were a hoot. I hope she can find comfort in knowing her mom isn't suffering now and that she lived both a long, and fulfilled, life.
RIP Maggie.

My mother died in December and I can appreciate the special kind of pain that Kathy is going through. It is beyond awful. I hope she finds peace where and when she can. RIP Maggie.

Kathy Griffin has announced she has been diagnosed with lung cancer. It's stage one thankfully, and confined to one lung. She is a non-smoker, but doing decades of stand-up in smoky clubs might have taken its toll. |

Best of luck to her. She's had a rough several years. She said in one of her posts that about a year ago she became addicted to pills and was suicidal and that's on top of her sister and mother dying.
