I think it's one of those male revues. In Atlantic City. Parents embarrass their kids on a daily basis just by being themselves but this? A whole new level of embarrassment.

Other than appearing Kate Plus 8, she hasn't done much in the way of promoting herself, though. I think her main motivation at this point is to financially provide for her 8 kids (up to and including sending them all to college). The dogs are the stars of her instagram page. If she were still in whoring out the family mode, she'd post more about herself and the kids on social media for publicity.

I'm no Kate apologist (I don't think ...) but, if anything, I believe he's the one still chasing fame. If I'm right (which is a big IF since I don't exactly follow their careers), he was the one to sign onto a reality show most recently (Couples Therapy with a new girlfriend a couple years ago).

I think she is chasing Fame, but the public interest just a isn't a there She was on a talk show pretty recently (I think within the last 6 months). Maybe Dr Phil? We have a TV in the break room and I remember how she was going on about protecting the one son's privacy. My coworker and I pondered aloud the protecting privacy while talking about him on national TV conundrum.She was def playing the "wow is me card", tearing up at all the right moments.

That said, she ranks above Jon on the parent scale, but that's like asking me which limb I would rather have ripped off by a bear.

From what I remember, the more recent interviews were in response to Jon blabbing to ET and entertainment outlets about Colin and how it's all Kate's fault and she doesn't let him see his kids and wah wah wah pay me for my dirty laundry. Other than that and a couple of People mag articles to promote Kate Plus 8, she's been pretty quiet. And I don't agree that there's a lack of interest. There's not the same kind of interest as there was in years past, but Kate could easily be cast in any number of D list reality shows if she wanted to be. She is one of those women that people love to hate, and in the world of reality TV, that well is never dry.

IMDB says he was on Couples Therapy, and she was on Wife Swap, Dancing with the Stars and the Apprentice, so she is at least open to offers. Without counting, they seem to be pretty equal on the talk TV circuit. I'd probably do the same, making enough money to support 8 children fathered by a deadbeat has to be a constant worry. But I personally think the reason she isn't in the spotlight more isnt by her choice.

Is that website devoted to hating them still up and running? I can't think of the name but I remember it had pictures if ducks.

She still has Kate Plus 8 and is listed as a producer. That's where the money comes from.

Jon was on Couples Therapy, not Kate. Her last big time thing was Apprentice over 2 years ago. She couldn't get a network show, but if she got herself a BF (real or fake, they don't care) she'd be welcomed with open arms to a show like Couples Therapy or Marriage Bootcamp. There's also Celebrity Big Brother UK, where all sorts of bottom of the barrel American celebrities are flown over to shoot the show. There are so many trashy show options! I honestly don't think she's interested anymore. She makes enough money from TLC and seems to feel safe there. I think (don't know, of course) that Kate's mental health was on shaky ground starting with the anxiety of the sextuplet pregnancy and we all witnessed her struggle with it in the ensuing years.

The hate website was Gosselins Without Pity. There was also a Duggars Without Pity blog by the same crew. I don't know if they still exist. I haven't looked at her twitter acct in years, and I haven't seen the thread on previouslyTV for Kate Plus 8. Since I cut the cord I've only paid to watch one episode out of curiosity anyway, Mady and Cara's Sweet 16 party. I wouldn't be surprised if she were still getting hatred on twitter or previouslyTV or even in her mailbox at home. The episode I watched seemed to feed into it a bit with Kate behaving like a ball of anxiety in anticipation of the party, the free stuff, and an alleged hairdresser friend of Kate's from NYC showing up for the party. These are the sort of things that fuel the hate-watch ratings, but the show (at least that episode) wasn't nearly as embarrassing or exploitative as it once was.

I just follow Kate on Instagram along with some other celebs. Instagram is my happy place, the posts are always positive and they stay that way as long as I don't look at the comments. I'm willfully ignorant of the negativity that may or may not surround the celebs I follow there. Everyone is peachy-keen and sweet and cute on instagram.
