Good to hear! If my friend can ever get back with me, I'm planning to go Friday!

GOOD LORD! I just saw this (being hump day and all). Many thoughts- Based on pure looks, Sofia Vergra is the luckiest woman on the planet. Damn. This one was a lot lighter and funnier than the first. I really enjoyed it. No peen but lots of backside. This is the first movie where I may not have hated Andie Macdowell (and not her character, her). Channing has some really cool dances. He is really talented as is Twitch. My theater only had about twenty people in it but there was a lot of clapping and cheering and especially when Joe M. did and said certain things. Fun summer movie! I agree, it was really fun. Much lighter than the first film (although I actually enjoyed the darker side of that one). I laughed a lot. Plenty of funny cat-calling and yelling in my theater.

So I am guessing the absence of Alex Pettyfer was no great loss? Between him and Cody Horn in the first movie I was hard pressed to figure out which one was worse.

So I am guessing the absence of Alex Pettyfer was no great loss? Haha, NO. Not at all. And I really liked the new characters, especially Jada Pinkett Smith and Donald Glover. "The Kid" was not missed, and for that matter neither was Dallas (although I do think McConaughey was fantastic in the first film).

I'm guessing the lack of Cody Horn was a good thing as well?

I'm guessing the lack of Cody Horn was a good thing as well? I'd say so. Amber Heard was basically the same character. I didn't feel like she impacted the film positively or negatively. She wasn't in it very much anyway.

I appreciated her trying to look like female Johnny Depp in the movie but for the love of God, sound must have hated that necklace she worse. It made soooo much noise.
Alex nor Cody were missed.

I'm glad that they got rid of all that "plot" nonsense and just focused on hot naked dudes dancing. But good Lord I was NOT expecting THAT from Michael Strahan. I don't think I'll ever be able to watch Live! the same way ever again.

I saw it tonight and really liked it. Much more dancing than we saw in the first one and less plot (although I could have done without Amber Heard).
I was almost in tears from laughing so hard at Richie's gas station scene.
