So, I'm curious -- what's the deal with the sashes and medals on everyone? You don't usually see them on the British royals, but Edward and Sophie are both tricked out in these photos. What are the rationale and protocol for wearing them?

Victoria's short speech on the balcony was lovely. She couldn't stop smiling and looked as if she wanted to keep saying "My husband and I". Hee. I thought it as great that both her and the king adressed the Swedish people.

For me personally, Victoria's dress is my favorite of all Royal Wedding dresses. Elegant, sophisticated.... and simple. I'm not really into ornate dresses.

No one's pointed it out yet, but who was that unfortunate woman who wore the 1/2 dress, 1/2 pants ensemble?

Oh you mean this hot mess? My first thought was "someone had an unfortunate dry cleaning experience!" She's Mabel from Holland.

I loved her dress, becuase it didn't try to compete with the Cameo Tiara. Plus, she looked so happy.
The insane woman is Mabel who's married to Frisco, who I believe is a Danish Prince. Her wedding dress was horrible, as well.

I've always had a soft spot for Victoria, she seems to take her role very seriously. She looked spectacular yesterday. That wedding was filled with love and not at all stodgy. I did laugh out loud at that horrible disney-like song that ended the ceremony. The hell was that?

Her dress was wondeful. She has great shoulders, so the neckline was perfect. I love how all those awful tv brides- "I'm a princess for a day!"- end up wearing the same enormous strapless dress, when no actual princess would ever wear a strapless gown.

Unfortunately, I would probably have worn Mabel's wedding dress, myself, just because it is Viktor and Rolf.

Queen Rania is sister in arms with Angelina Jolie. Literally. Those things are bony !
