Big surprise about the baby's name : Princess Estelle Silvia Ewa Mary. And her title is Duchess of Östergötland.
Not exactly a traditional name for a future Queen. But whatever, as long as it's beautiful enough for her parents!

I like Victoria and Daniel a lot and he looked so happy (and kinda cute!) when he talked to the media. The name is ok.

I really like the name, although "Queen Estelle" will take some getting used to. On a royal forum I read, they hate it, say its "Trashy" and "not Swedish/traditonal enough" (Plus, this is the forum that hates CP Mary so the use of Mary is driving them insane). I like that they went with a name that isn't used, so that the baby can chart her own path.

I also wish they'd chosen a more Swedish name, but I'd seen some talk about Desiree (which I really wouldn't have liked) and Estelle is better than that. I'm very happy for Victoria - she's always seemed like she's ready to take her responsibilities seriously and work hard, and she and Daniel look more in love than any other royal couple I can think of.

I was surprised by the name, but apparently it is an old Bernadotte family name: Folke Bernadotte (godfather to The Swedish king) was married to an Estelle. They're getting some flak in Sweden for this, but whatever... I think people will survive.

The name seems to have meaning for the family, so that's nice. Also, both grandmothers are recognized.

I was just glad it wasn't Desiree too-I was hoping for Astrid or Kristina or maybe Lovisa, but I actually like Estelle a lot.

They think she's lazy, spoiled and not a good person. I'm not a fan of her at all-I see a lot of their points, as she seems to care more about her image than her work (plus, I hate Fred, think off all the CPs he'll make the worst king) but they just think that everything she does is wrong.
