I'm ok with Kitty. She's better than Mycroft.

Haha, I liked Mycroft & don't mind Kitty; I also don't think she's here to stay because...why?

I like Kitty too. Her voice bugs a little but overall she is an interesting character. And I like that they didn't make her and Joan antagonists. They're not fighting for Sherlock's attention. In practical terms the purpose of her character is to take some screen time away from Holmes and Watson. I think they both wanted to direct some episodes and they couldn't really in the past because they were both in virtually every scene. I've also heard rumors that Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu don't get along in real life but I choose not to believe that. I do wish they would take more advantage of the regular supporting characters they do have like Bell and Gregson. And what happened to Alfredo? I'm enjoying this season more than last but my one complaint would be the cases of the week are too convoluted. The mysteries have always been the weakest point of the show but this season they seem especially confusing. I watch mostly for the characters but considering the show is not heavily serialized I think the cases should be a lot sharper.

I'm liking Kitty more than I first did, but then I hated her originally. I do like that she's no longer antagonistic, but she still seems kind of pointless other than to occasionally come up with an important point, but there's no reason Holmes or Watson couldn't do that.

Yes, it was. My only disappointment was not seeing Clyde. Great wrap-up for the characters, ended on a hopeful note, and tons of little nods to the canon with names.

Must admit I started crying when Sherlock confronted Joan with the truth. It was a great finale. I’ll miss the show.

If only she hadn't kept that blonde hair!
BTW-- she's good in her follow up series, Why Women Kill...

I loved it! I adore all the main characters and their chemistry with each other.
I'm so glad they stay a family, especially with the sadness each one (including Captain Gregson and Bell) had in their families.
