That Princess is a brat, and to quote that other woman, " she seems very boring" hit the nail on the head with that one. Gisela is spewing all this hate but secretly wants in Rollo's pants so bad.

I'm bumping the thread because season 4 begins tonight!!!! I'm excited to see where all they go this year and the epic battle when Ragnar discovers Rollo's married Princess Gisla.

Did anyone watch last night? The sagas were played out as written, as much as I didn't want to see that, but it was done well. Great job by Travis Fimmel, someone tell me why he has never been nominated for an Emmy?

The past two episodes have been really good. I was just thinking last night that if the acting awards actually went to the best performances, Travis Fimmel and Linus Roache would be locks for nominations, they've both been so good. I can't wait to see how the show progresses with the sons and what is sure to be quite a showdown with Lagertha.
Also, the makeup team does stellar work.

The sons are fantastic too. Bjorn sometimes acts so much like Ragnar - with the small gestures and facial expressions - that it's amazing they're not related. I see Ragnar in Ubbe too, and Ivar is just as crafty. Great casting all around.

I've been watching, I bought a season pass for the show since I cut the cord a few months ago.
I was kind of, but then again not really, shocked that they went there with Ragnar and the pit. They aged him so much the past season or so that it makes sense that their intentions were to carry on with the timeline rather than have him always be around. When they showed him remembering his younger days with Lagertha, it made me a bit misty. (Misty for a vicious killer, and that started another train of thought about war and who gets glorified and other complexities!).
I do hope they focus on Bjorn. Like Mugsy said, the gestures and tics are so much like Ragnar! Well done. I don't see it quite as much with the younger sons, I wonder if that is on purpose since he was gone for such a large part of their lives. I also can't wait to see how this plays out for Lagertha. I loved her and Ragnar together, but she was too good for him in my opinion.
How old are they (Ragnar, Rollo, Lagertha) supposed to be by now, anyway?

I finally started watching this series, mostly because I’m such a Linus Roache fangirl. Currently in the middle of season 2 and the one thing I want to say is what an amazing job the casting director did with the young and grown up versions of Bjorn. Seriously, it’s like the production team waited for that kid to grow up. Are they related in real life?
