Well you're being logical. The first rule of Hollywood is never to let logic get in the way of decision making.

I'm in denial about the cancellation.
The last episode was really good - and the ending such a shock to see both Will and Hannibal prisoners of Mason.

Preview for second half of season (NSFW obviously). Okay, even though I have been a little down on this season so far I am excited about this. And I did like the last episode. I am just looking forward to wrapping up the whole Mason Verger/European adventures story lines. Bryan Fuller said that his ideal Clarice would be Ellen Page. Or a nonwhite actress so he could integrate her race into the character. Both of which I think would be interesting choices. Although if it does come back it is even less likely they will get the rights to Silence of the Lambs since now its not even on a major network. ETA: Its apparently moving to Saturday nights effective immediately.

That last episode was great - and so much plot development! The scene with the eel was totally gross, in a very gross episode.

When Will sat up I wondered if Hannibal was going to offer him some chicken soup.
Loved how Hannibal pretty much had a boner the entire time while being held captive by Mason ("It's always a game with him") while Will was all 100% done.
Poor Hannibal...Will broke up with him for good and he still didn't get the message. He let himself be caught just so Will would always know where he is. He really loves his little Will (not that Will wants him to anymore).

I had two thoughts watching this last episode: "THIS is why I love Hannibal" followed by "Dammit, THIS is why they're f*cking cancelling Hannibal." All the stuff I love... Sigh.

Has the new season dealt with what actually happened to the agent found with one arm in the hole? Seems like that storyline went nowhere.

You mean Miriam Lass? I assumed after she shot Chilton she was dismissed or probably placed into some kind of long-term therapy/rehab. I wouldn't mind them wrapping it up more clearly, though. I also thought Ellen Muth was wasted, and her death was extra gruesome & memorable...on a show where people are eaten in nearly every episode.

Yes, Mariam. I'd like to know SO much more about her storyline. Where exactly was she for all that time? Why doesn't she remember Hannibal? Why did he keep her alive and not eat her? I need to know, goddamnit!

I need to know, goddamnit! Only Hannibal can answer some of those--hee--but I think he really kept her in that hole most of the time--right after he was done hypnotizing/brainwashing her. H. did the stuff on her that he did with Will re: hypnosis, so wherever Hannibal is in her memory she remembered Chilton instead (and as Chilton admitted, they have pretty similar backgrounds, so any of his eccentricities may have triggered her violence). I'm not sure why Hannibal didn't eat her. He sent her (still working?) phone and arm back to Jack, so maybe it was all about taunting him about the star pupil he'd ruined.
