OMG, not one but two d*ck shots in this episode. Has that been done on cable before? And why did it have to be Randall??

I admit I got confused when Jamie was in the water after fixing the mill and they started to play dramatic music while his sister turned and ran away in horror and disgust. I thought "Wow, is it really that traumatizing to almost see your brother's junk? Is this going to be a thing with the sister? The music seems a bit mu...oh. It's about the scars. I thought they were going for some peen phobia thing."
Tom and Lorenzo predicted the "Jack might be gay" thing due to the way he was checking out Jamie in the past and the way the Duke was a little too skittish about his connection to Jack. Of course, Jack gets off on pain more than anything, but when he does have actual sex, it is with dudes (I'm assuming this is how the Duke won't help Jamie - he will side with the dude who donks him).

Flacid Jack Randall penis. Not what I was expecting nor wanting. That scene was the embodiment of the quote, "Men are afraid women will laugh at them. Women are afraid men will kill them."
This ep was a little on the slow side. I appreciate Claire and Jamie have earned a much needed break all the insanity back at Castle Leoch but nothing really happened until the end. Ian is sweet and I liked his scenes with Claire. At first Jenny bugged but I then I got to thinking how I would feel if my brother suddenly appeared on my doorstep with a new wife, lashing out at me for doing what I could to save him from a psycho, and undoing all my hard work from the years. Yeah, I would be a little pissy as well. Glad Claire smacked some sense into Jamie.

Jamie along with Claire, Jenny and Ian could be quite the fantastic four. Jamie telling Claire to hold her tongue, that this was his family, his land, his time. I really like this show, it gets better every week.

Last night's ep... damn. Still freaked out and horrified! Even Joffrey Baratheon would think Black Jack Randall is out of control psycho! Not to mention I'm now REALLY side eyeing Diana Gabaldon for telling Sam Heughan couldn't wait to watch him being raped and tortured.

I swear, Jamie has the worst luck of any character currently on television.

Jamie's terrified face at the end killed me. As did Claire's anguished cries when she had to leave him, knowing what Randall was going to do with him. I loved her cursing of Randall.

The season finale was just so... disturbing. The acting was wonderful though.

They cut out a couple of my favorite things from the books. But I think they were right in changing Claire's form of "therapy" for Jamie. I missed Jamie crying over his hand and the Grotto. Loved that they kept Clair's confession to the monk.
It was very disturbing. The second rape bothered me more than the first, TBH, even though it wasn't as violent. I'm glad they chose to spend a lot of time on the aftermath and show the psychological pain Jamie felt. Sam Heughan just did incredible work. His face throughout the episode showed Jamie's pain and emptiness. It was wonderfully done but I don't think I'll ever watch it again.
