One of my favorite scenes in the book is Jamie and Claire's epic fight right after he rescues her. It totally lived up to my expectations. I thought they handled the spanking about the best they could. Glad Claire got some punches, kicks, and scratches in there.
They changed a lot about the return to Castle Leoch and Jamie and Claire's make up sex and I'm so glad they did. That seen in the book bothered more than the spanking, TBH.
I think Claire was naked through 3/4ths of the show. That's definitely one of the most explicit sex scenes I've seen on tv, even cable.

It was a really solid episode, but they waited far too long to bring this back. I hope it's not a trend.

This week's opening clip was more heart-pounding than last weeks blade to the throat. Claire is training Jaime well.  Larry (can't be bothered to look up the proper spelling) is such a spoiled brat. I hate her (and I know I'm supposed to). I wonder how much the book will deviate from the book in the upcoming episodes. They're going to have to condense the witch trial..... |

Her name is pronounced "L'Heery" but spelled Laoghaire The book fans like to call her "Leghair" or "Legwhore."
Best comment on the changeling: "I'm glad the fake baby from American Sniper is getting more work."

I am such a wimp I could never have survived as along as Claire has and I would keep finding a way back to those damn stones. I find it interesting that many of the woman around Claire are in simple cloth outfits and she gets to rock the lovely fur trimmed cape.
