That was said in Entertainment Weekly, where they alsos said they were surprised by the interweb wig freak out (as am I, I mean, who cares?). They said it would be resolved as the actress grows out her hair and she can lose the wig. I guess you can't be taken seriously as any kind of YV law enforcer if you don't have long hair.
That article also said Spader wears a bald cap.

I love this show! I love James Spader! I like that his character doesn't pretend to be "good," he's a bad guy! He doesn't pretend to be otherwise. Although the head in the box did make me go "Awwww, he has an affection for Ressler." Speaking of Ressler, I love him too! I think he's progressively gotten hotter as the show has continued.

Ressler IS getting hotter. And it was very Hannibal of him to send him a head in a box. And he's extremely self-aware. (It did make me think of Dick in a Box so I laughed inappropriately). Hassan Johnson is from The Wire so I was disappointed they brought in a known name (in the black sphere) just to throw him off a bridge. Although black woman as Black Swan and more minorities elsewhere, so yay! (I keep count; I just do.)
Dude, Tom is cray! I can't wait for that showdown. Again, Lance Reddick (Fringe, Wire) is another fave--and in a stupid cowboy hat--so I was sad to see him go too. Jolene was an idiot.

Audrey and Jolene were both idiots. I just rolled my eyes at them. I would include Liz for not side-eyeing Tom's obvious lies, but in assuming they are setting up the betrayal.
I liked Cowboy, but knowing that I would see Lance Reddick on Intelligence made up for his death.
Loved all the Ressler & Red moments. Their situations seemed paralleled.

Witchie, I agree with you that Audrey was an idiot. Although, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that she stumbled into the middle of the street because she was dazed and confused since she hit her head so hard.
And Ressler was smoking hot in the scene in the snow with his friend. I just hope the show doesn't set up for a Ressler-Lizzie romance. A part of me wants it, but a big part of me doesn't either. Why can't partners just be partners? Why does there always have to be a romantic connotation to it? Like in SVU with Elliott and Benson, it just wouldn't work and I hated it when they hinted at it too.

TTMR & I call this The James Spader Show. We love Red, and we hate everybody else. Lizzy and her co-workers are seriously the dumbest FBI agents I've ever seen portrayed anywhere.
But we really do love Red.

Oh that's a given, this is Spader's show and everyone revolves around him. What happened to even capturing him anymore? They just set up meetings with Red like he's a normal civilian consultant and Lizzie is his personal assistant. (And she is.) Also, in what world do FBI agents let bad guys--even gov't bad guys--COMMIT SEPPUKO in their presence? Ay yai yai.
When I saw Audrey stumbling around I was like "This chick 'bout to get (bang) shot. Sigh." I know they pushed the head injury but my ass would've been confused...and PRONE waiting for my FBI boyfriend to come back. I do like the evolving relationship of Ressler & Red... he could've shot him point blank in the head at one point last season!--and now he's gotta write a thank-you note for beheading the Yakuza dude.
Totally loved the ep, I'm just nitpicking. I laughed when Tom complained about the guy who stabbed him being so overly enthusiastic and Liz finding his go bag.

I love this show, even though it has so many stupid people in it. I'm enjoying the growing hate-like dynamic between Red and Ressler. If only they could somehow get that going with Keen, sometimes it's painful to see Megan Boone's scenes with Spader. I can't wait for someone to beat down Tom and punch him in the face. Repeatedly.

There are not many shows where sending your frenemy someone's head in a box is a genuinely nice gesture. I love it!
