Did no one else watch? It was BAD. The movie was so changed from the book that I almost didn't know it was based on the book.

I watched and they really crammed/rushed through the plot points. Even taking out the Paul stuff, there was way too much plot to have this one only be 2 hours long (less with commercials). They really should have gone for a "2 night event" mini series for this one. You could have had 1 night center around the Julian angle and the other around the revenge/Bart plot.
I will say, Heather Graham seemed to be enjoying herself and I thought the casting was pretty good. They really did all look related. Corrine, Cathy & Carrie especially.

I'll admit to watching it. Hey, it was 1am and I wasn't sleeping. The actor who played Christopher was so, so bad. He had one expression, if you could even call it an expression. God, he was painfully dull.

I don't really remember PoTA and it's obvious Lifetime is sanitizing and simplifying events of the books. For a 90-minute version it wasn't a bad interpretation, and I really liked the actress who played Carrie. Bothering with If There Be Thorns seems like a mistake to me but maybe the two-hour treatment will actually make it more bearable. They should really reconsider about the prequel.
