One of the comments she made in her Facebook Live is that she's working on being less self-deprecating. (I think she should reconsider that because her self-deprecation is one of the things that keeps her from sounding like a tool.)
But I find it interesting that while she's aware that she's self-deprecating, she's unaware that when it comes to substantive matters, her ego is too big to consider that her way of thinking might be flawed.

Yeah, good for you for not having the same nasty experiences as other women in Hollywood, it does not make you a better person by default. So sit down, and STFU. Just wanted to say OMG yes.

To me she reads less as self-deprecating and more as humble-bragging. Here's a good takedown of her piece.

She spent a week victim blaming and doubling down on it. Too little, too late for me. From her initial response: She thinks she's some kind of savior that's above criticism and everyone should be bowing down and kissing her ass. No, she's just a fathead with a fat mouth, and her anti-vaxx garbage, smother-parenting nonsense, and victim-blaming never made life better for anyone.

I notice this has been a continual response of late, not just from her; "How dare you attack me! My intentions are good!" It's the same response that General Kelly had, "How dare you attack me? I'm a former general! I know I'm awesome!"

What's the saying? The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Having good intentions doesn't make someone incapable of listening to constructive criticism, processing it, and taking it on board.

She's being annoying again. She posted a Facebook video in which she denounces competitive mothering and mommy shaming. She tells a story of participating in her first (and last!) mommy group and in this story she ridicules what the other mothers wanted to talk about and implies they were all shallow, stupid and selfish. She somehow thinks that this story demonstrates how competitive the *other* mothers in the group were. The video is full of her usual humblebrags because it's important that you know that she - unlike the shallow bitches in that mommy group - used cloth diapers, didn't use pacifiers, and held her baby all the time because she's a scientist and therefore knows that's what human mammals need. Also, SHE had no time to get manicures but I guess some of those other bitches did. And of course she is disregarding all of the negative feedback she's getting by saying it proves her point.

I knew as soon as her thread popped up that she’d again said something condescending and sanctimonious. The level of deep seated insecurity she harbors must be tremendous...

She had some valid things to say, but she started out from the gate being incredibly condescending and insensitive. And I don't believe for a second that she doesn't pass judgment on moms who don't breastfeed. Also, let's stop with the bragging about not having time to take a shower or engage in any self care which only serves to perpetuate the idea that women are society's designated martyrs who must sacrifice every fiber of their being for their offspring. That thought process empowers the patriarchy, not women.
