ETA: She wishes she was JLaw, who, comparatively speaking, is like Robert Downey Junior in charisma to Woodley's Judd Nelson.

I promise I'm not a Shailene superfan or anything, but she's one of the young actress critics really like in practically everything she does (barring Secret Life...). Even the ones who aren't overly thrilled with Fault in Our Stars overall, are lavishing her with raves for her performance in it. Of course, critics tend to like Kristen Stewart, too, and it's really the general public going, "Huh?" and not getting the big deal.

Wow, after reading this article, they both bug me! I know they're young, but they're so pretentious.  Even Shailene's hugging is special:

I haven't seen much of Brie Larson, but this quote makes me give her the side-eye:

She's so successful she has to make her own rejection to remember how it feels (and what a rejection it is when the market is out of green peppers). Ugh.

If a no is the answer Brie Larson is looking for, the best thing she can ask random people is "Do you know who I am?" That way she'll get a no plus a bonus WTF look from strangers.

My eyes are rolling so hard from that interview I can see last week. I have no idea who Brie Larson is, although it appears that she feels I should. Hopefully Woodley will fade soon. I suspect we'll see her in too many movies coming up, she's the new Channing Tatum.

Brie Larson was on the United States of Tara and in Don Juan, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, and 21 Jump Street. She was a pretty great in United States, and people in Hollywood seem to think really highly of her. But she has been pretty mediocre to forgettable in the movie flicks she has landed. I'm guessing if she makes it to her 30s as an actor she might find work on a decent cable TV show.

Shailene Woodley has always been really bland in everything I see her in. I tend to think she will be a flash in the pan actor and this is her peak.

It would totally stress me out if someone, especially someone I didn't know that well, hugged me like that. Wouldn't you get 'equal time for both sides of the heart' if you hugged the normal way? Also, please Shailene and all young female actresses, take your finger out of your mouth in pictures.

That's a terrible cover. Shailene's eyes look dead which is especially creepy with the cutesy finger in mouth pose. And Brie Larson looks ten years older than she is and also kind of generic.

Anyway, I feel that Shailene is on her way to becoming a junior Fishstick. She says stupid stuff and follows it up with "I was tricked into saying that/ the unwashed masses just don't get me". Her whole earth mother thing is being talked up like Goop's macrobiotic diet in the 90s.
