Chadwick Boseman

I saw two new threads and was wondering if Chadwick Boseman had a thread about him or not.

From Wikipedia:

Boseman was born in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Anderson, South Carolina and graduated from Howard University in Washington, D.C.. He starred in the 2013 film 42 as Jackie Robinson.[2] He has also had television roles in Lincoln Heights as Nathaniel "Nate" Ray and as Sergeant McNair in the NBC television series, Persons Unknown. Boseman also stars as Lt. Samuel Drake in the action-thriller The Kill Hole.[3]

I've read mixed reviews about Get on Up, but Boseman, himself, has been getting rave reviews. I don't know if it will be enough to get him nominated for an Oscar, but I'm 99.99999%, he'll get a Golden Globe nomination if Get on Up is classified as a Comedy/Musical, which I'm assuming it will be. He might even win if he's in that category. It probably depends on if Inherent Vice or Birdman are considered comedies or not.

When I was searching to see if Quentin Tarantino had a thread last night, I saw this thread that I started 3 years ago. Then, I saw that Black Panther was trending on Twitter this morning, so I was like what the heck, I'll just bump this up.

I just saw the news on Facebook, and I agree that 2020 just needs to stop.

I’m just devastated and speechless. I had no idea he was sick or had been battling cancer for that long.

It really felt like he had decades of being on top in Hollywood ahead of him after the huge success of Black Panther and then the praise for Da 5 Bloods.

I’m completely shocked. Thinking about everything he did in the last four years, and the whole time he was battling cancer and never showed it. What he must have been going through in private.
