I could not stand her for so long because of her character on Victorious ( I hated Ashton Kutcher for the same reason for a long time too) but now I just like her, a lot! And her face while being side-groped...I know exactly that feeling. š

That creepy preacher makes me so mad. Ariana deserves better. All women deserve better.
I bet we start to hear stories about that jerk.

Thoughts on Ariana's tribute to Aretha at the funeral: 1. She really does have a great voice, but her total inability to enunciate has ruined almost every performance I've seen, and it seems to be getting worse. I would love to hear her tackle something classic and challenging with lots of consonants--she'd blow everyone else out of the water. 2. When you are paying tribute at a funeral or memorial service--girl, cover your bottom. I kept waiting for somebody to run over and drape her with the casket pall a la James Brown. I donāt follow pop culture and I had no idea who she was when I saw her singing, but my first thought was that she was wearing a black pillowcase. She was in a CHURCH. At a FUNERAL. Not at all appropriate for the occasion.

Eh, sheās not the first young woman to wear a short skirt in church. Isnāt the bigger issue that she was groped?

Eh, sheās not the first young woman to wear a short skirt in church. Isnāt the bigger issue that she was groped? Oh, of course it is - and of course itās disgusting - but it wasnāt the point of my post. The preacher would probably have groped her regardless of her apparel, if thatās what he is, and shame on him. But she was not at a concert, she was honoring a legend at her funeral, and in my opinion she was not dressed appropriately, thatās all I was saying.

Before I knew anything of the groping, I saw that dress and rolled my eyes. I know I sound like my grandmother, but so many young people today just do not know how to dress for an occasion. And as you said, this wasnāt just a regular church service, it was a funeral. Gah. Obviously the pastor was a jackass. Both things can be true.

But maybe he did touch her boob. But he hugs everyone! I'd be interested in seeing where he sticks his hands when he's hugging a man.

That creepy preacher makes me so mad. Ariana deserves better. All women deserve better. I bet we start to hear stories about that jerk. It is such a disgusting, well-worn tactic. Disguise it as an innocent gesture, lower guard by framing it as a joke or trying to add some sort of humor to the situation, create an atmosphere where it's difficult to react. These scumbags know exactly what they are doing. When I reposted that story from ONTD yesterday morning, there was a lot of defense of him happening on social media, but by later in the day, the tide had really turned. So, I'm glad Ariana's not going to feel pressured into pretending it didn't bother her. Women being sexually assaulted right in front of audiences with the assumption they'll have to underreact is something that happens way too often. Some of the classics: Mel B getting felt up by Louis Walsh. He's old and he didn't know where his hands were, so it's hilarious!Scarlett Johansson gets felt up by Isaac Mizrahi. He's gay, so it's cute!Howard Stern dry-humping Heather Locklear onstage at the Blockbuster Awards. A cause for a standing ovation! And of course, the classic Halle Berry/ Adrien Brody kiss. Moments like that are just the best.

Pete did have a small role in the Netflix movie āTo All the Boys I Loved Beforeā so I suppose thereās that. Iāve never heard of Amandla whoever. I think Shawn Mendes is bigger than heās being credited for, his song āIn My Bloodā seems to be everywhere. Of the 3 Iād say heās the biggest right now. He did? I just watched that movie on Netflix tonight (super cute!) and I donāt remember him being in it at all. The new season of SNL starts soon. It will be interesting to see if Peteās newfound recognition as Arianaās fiancĆ© will translate to more screentime for him. Iām of the opinion that heās never wanted to do much on SNL because heās kind of lazy and doesnāt feel like putting the work in. But who knows? I got the movie wrong, it was āSet It Upā, another Netflix Original, that he was in. Sorry!!
