Has this not been released in the US yet or is it just that no one here is interested in it?
I saw it yesterday and I really liked it. It was fun, and moving at times, and fairly silly. One or two plots did feel a bit like they were setting up for the next movie, but they didn't take away from the overall movie.
And even though it's fairly long I didn't think it dragged at all.
Oh, a Baby Groot is frickin adorable.

I think it opens in the US this weekend. I want to see it, but I've got a million things going on, so it will probably be another week or two.

Ah, that explains it. It was released last Thursday here, so I was surprised no one had discussed it, because I thought I was already a bit late seeing it.

On a side note, last night I attended a makeup demonstration by one of the makeup artists/prosthetic designers for the film, and he was a sweetie.

Saw it today and it was fun! It gets heavier as the movie goes on and has a very touching ending. Dare I say it has a Fast and the Furious vibe?

Agreed, it was fun but got really deep and kind of sad by the end. And fortunately Vulture has some good articles up explaining the cameos and what the hell was going on in the extra scenes during the credits because I had no idea most of the time. And regarding the cameos, my favorite was {Spoiler}Jeff Goldblum dancing in a bubble during the credits. You really have to keep your eyes peeled for it though, I was the only one who caught it in the group of people I went with. |
