I saw that, I am genuinely shocked. Happy, but shocked. I’m wondering now if the actors threatened to walk if he wasn’t reinstated.

I’m glad. Firing him was stupid. Yeah, he said some gross things on Twitter. But it was years ago, he was clearly trying way too hard to be “edgy” at the time with his “jokes” and had already apologized for it all by the time the right-wingers decided to create a fuss.

In many cases the person appears to deserve to be fired. But this always felt like an overreaction from the studio.

I think I read that didn't want to have anything to do with movie #3 unless Gunn was at the helm. I think their contracts stipulated they had to film #3, but I'm wondering if they all made it clear that they wouldn't promote it, and Disney just decided it wasn't worth the headache?

I think Karen Gillan more or less said as much on twitter. I'm really happy about this, there are some who deserve to be thrown on the ash heap of history (Weinstein), but not James Gunn, there has to be some room for genuine change and genuine forgiveness.

What does it say about me that my favorite character in the entire MCU is the talking racoon with a machine gun? Him, and Bucky. Forget the Falcon, I'd like to see The Space Adventures of Rocket and Bucky.
