Because I sometimes just need light content, I love love love ‘Beyond the Blinds’ and ‘Watch What Crappens’. I love Watch What Crappens for the RHOBH and HOTD recaps. They crack me up.

While I’m glad that Adnan has been released, I also feel terrible for Hae Min Lee’s family. I hope that in all the celebrations her family is remembered and her case isn’t forgotten. She deserves justice and hopefully this is the beginning of that pursuit and not the end. Fortunately, there's no statute of limitations on homicide, and the DNA can lead to a suspect. True justice for Hae Min Lee is both freeing an innocent man (can Adnan sue the state of Maryland for wrongful incarceration?) and finding the guilty one. I have my suspect, but will avoid libel (*fingers crossed to enter law school*). Apparently the two other suspects they cited when overturning Adnan’s conviction have been uncovered by the internet sleuths, and they are characters from Serial. One is Bilal, the dude from Adnan’s mosque who was supposed to be his alibi for that night, but disappeared before the trial (he was caught bad-touching a kid in a van shortly before the trial, but wasn’t charged. This leads some people to think the police made a deal - that if he split and didn’t testify for Adnan, they wouldn’t charge him). He doesn’t make sense to me because I can’t see a direct connection to Hae. The other is “Mister S” from Serial - the streaker who found (or “found”) Hae’s body. He makes more sense as he did work at the school and may have crossed paths with Hae, plus he’s the one whose relative owned the house next to the lot where Hae’s car was found.

So, not Lenscrafters guy? Personally, I think they should still be looking at him (Don). He just wasn’t one of the two suspects the state committed a Brady violation with by not telling Adnan’s lawyer about them. It appears that the police had just decided Adnan was their guy and they didn’t look too hard at Don (despite the shenanigans with his probably falsified time card for an alibi).

I still really like Celebrity Memoir Bookclub, but they need to stick to actual celebrities. There are too many influencers, tik tokers, real housewives, etc. that I've never even heard of! They've had good episodes lately on Paris Hilton, Padma Lakshmi, Cicely Tyson, and Pamela Anderson.

Are you talking about Chelsea Devantez's Celebrity Book Club? Or is it another Celebrity Book Club? I like Chelsea's as she does mostly stick to celebrities you've heard of. And mostly women.

It's this one. There are some gems, but a lot of people I've never heard of and have no interest in. The hosts are two comediennes with bad vocal fry but I think they're funny.

For anyone who listens to You Must Remember This, Marc Maron interviews Karina Longsworth for the most recent version of WTF podcast. I have listened to half of it and she's really interesting. It's nice to hear her natural voice since I'm used to hearing her read from a script.
Interesting tidbit: She said she got good scholarships to film school because she was able to submit a ton of writing she'd done for her undergraduate film studies and one of her papers she mentioned was something like "Globalism and Colonialism in the Videos of Duran Duran." I was a big Duran Duran fan back in the day so I would LOVE to read this.
I also had no idea she is married to the director Rian Johnson.
I was only able to listen to the first half of the interview but I'm really looking forward to the rest.

Now I’m picturing her narrating the adventures of Benoit Blanc. I’ll have to check that interview out.

The new season of "You Must Remember This" has started and the topic is Erotic 90's and it's already so damned good. If I didn't already hate Clint Eastwood I would after hearing the way he treated Sondra Locke.
