I wonder what will happen with Deadpool now that Disney has the film rights. They claim they're going to be faithful to the first two films, but I wouldn't be shocked if it becomes as neutered and dull as most of the MCU movies.

I've only seen bits and pieces of the Deadpool movies. Did Deadpool see the Avenger's flicks? He made a crack about someone having "a Winter Soldier arm", then tried singing a lullaby to some big, angry dude?

Deadpool's defining schtick in the comics is constant breaking of the fourth wall... the Avengers references aren't even the half of it. It's actually pretty remarkable how well they were able to transplant that over to the movies (or well, first movie, I still haven't seen the second).
