Yeah the whole Hawkeye thing was a big wtf to me. I don't even understand why they included him as a character when he is so damn basic. Bow and arrow? Foh with that.

I like Hawkeye and I like that he's an guy with a bow & arrow fighting alongside superpowered soldiers, gods, and billionaire tech gurus. My problem with his story was how it came out of left field and really didn't need to. Joss could have done better by Renner, which was not only Renner's complaint, but Hawkeye fans' complaint, without shoehorning in a ready made family. I know he has one in one of the Marvel's verses, but it didn't have to be in this one. Joss just wanted to up the ante in case he killed him.

Hawkeye's wife was atleast close to his age, the big thing I will give this movie and she had some wrinkles! She was skinny though.
