Glad you pulled this one back up, Rat! Last night I made tomato pie from the Smitten Kitchen recipe. I've been experimenting with ingredients to brush on the crust before adding the tomatoes and last night tried horseradish. It was ok but I think I prefer mustard. Leftover pie for breakfast.
For supper I made a sweep-the-fridge pie. Two kinds of mushrooms, a jalapeno, the end of a vegan 'mozzarella', and custard composed of the end of the vegan yogurt, some homemade chicken broth, and a couple of eggs. Again, breakfast will be leftover pie.
