I do like Toby (and he looks MUCH better without the fat suit.) But I'm attracted to that personality type (and the Bear type. See also: Rogen comma Seth.)

The fact that they smash cut to Beth during the flash forward makes me positive it's not Beth..... Unless they don't know we know they know we know... you know?

It was a good finale, and I hope NBC quickly tells TPTB that they have a a 4th AND 5th season approved, so they can work on some long term stories.

Kevin's speech seemed so inappropriate. My Mother was toasted at my Sister's wedding (about 9 years after her death [and she was there at the wedding I could feel her]), but not to that extent. Parents do die, Pearsons. Even Sainted ones. Let's breathe some of that thought.

Otherwise, a really good finale, with lots of appetizers, for a good season. It really is a terrific show.

I've considered that, but with the comments from his parents about how depressed he was when his first marriage failed--along with his own comments earlier in the season about considering suicide--I do think they're going with a depression storyline (along with the 'adjusting your medication' line).

I'm fine with Toby. I know he gets a lot of hate on message boards, but I find him pretty likeable--if sometimes a little too try-hard.

I'm still bothered by the fact that I can't figure out whose car Deja smashed. Was it Toby's parents'? Was she just mad that Toby's mom said that Deja looked like Randall, instead of "pretty" like Beth (not that the latter part of the line was actually spoken, but I felt that it was implied)?

I think it was Randall’s car;. it’s safer for Deja to lash out at Randall and Beth, safer to process what’s happening as them taking her away rather than her mother abandoning her.

Finally, Series 2 has landed on my TV but at 11pm on a Thursday night and I only found it by accident, bless the invention of record series button😁

If like last season Irish telly doesn't show it until next year and I don't find it else where I've decided I'm going spoil it totally for myself by reading everything here.
