Never had an opinion on Lori one way or the other but now I'm completely obsessed with finding a video clip wherein she pronounces her last name because I really need to know if it's Loff-lin, as I'd always thought the roughly 3.5 times she's crossed my mind in the past 30 years, or Lock-lin as so many talking heads are saying it. It probably should be Loff-lin, but she definitely pronounces it Lock-lin.
It probably should be Loff-lin, but she definitely pronounces it Lock-lin.
Thanks SO much for this! Don't know why I needed to know that but it was like a pebble in the shoe. Thank you, hildymatildy! I had the same thoughts. Fairly certain that Tom Laughlin pronounced his name "lawf-lin". Gene Wilder says 'Ee-gore' Marty Feldman says 'Eye-gore - let's call the whole thing off. On a side note caught a few minutes of that cinematic gem 'Amityville 3-D' yesterday and am pretty sure that the admissions scandal can only hope for 2nd place on her "crimes against humanity" list.

Locklinn (or something sorta similar (Lochklinn) that I can't really explain in text, but would have to say it) is how we'd say it in Ireland. Or how'd I'd say it at least 😀. Lough is the same as Scottish Loch as in Loch Ness monster.

Me neither! I don't know if that's filler or natural (Olivia also has a very wide face), but it's creepy. He looks like he's had turkey legs inserted under his cheeks. He could be Madame's twin brother.

Nothing new to report, yet. But I found this eye-rolling: Lori thinks she'll return to work after scandal: I believe that she thinks she won't serve jail time. And if she's REALLY reading everything about her, then she'd know that Felicity is getting at least 4 months. What does she think will happen to her? ZERO TIME. Yeah, because that makes sense. Do I think she'll ever return to work? Maybe.

I mean, Mel Gibson is still working, so there's that.

True, but she never had the talent or fame of Mel Gibson. Yes, she probably will work again, but she'll need to do a redemption tour, right? Right?! Please tell me yes.

It was pretty amazing to begin with that Lori ever established a viable TV career for herself outside of Full House. Now she's done everything in her power to destroy the likable, wholesome image that her career is built on. She's made it impossible for her primary employer, the Hallmark Channel, to associate with her.
When this is all over, I don't see what real career options are going to be left for a scandalized former sitcom star in her late 50s. She can try to get a reality show on the Lifetime Channel about how she's rebuilding her life. She probably won't be able to do Dancing with the Stars because that probably won't be around for much longer. I'm not seeing much else for her except the Tori Spelling hustle.
Mel Gibson was a white, male, bona fide movie star with a bunch of Oscars. That's a lot different from where Lori's ever been.

I think reality tv is her best hope of having a career. If she isn't already filming for Real Housewives, she should be. Even if she isn't signed on to an establish show like RH, she should be filming her life right now, and using that as an audition tape for some network. I'm certain E!, or Bravo would love to give her a show about her "fabulous life", and her latest "trials and tribulations". The daughters and husband would be heavily featured of course. They can make money, rehab their images, and taint the jury pool all at once.

At this point, she's damaged goods, and she's too dumb to realize she's looking at serious prison time. Hallmark won't take her back, because there are a zillion pretty wholesome looking decent actresses in Hollywood and they don't need her. She's 54 now, and when she comes out of prison she's probably going to be in her 60s- if she's fortunate.
