I'm starting to wonder how bright LL is, aside from her incredible sense of entitlement. Thinking that she'll do better at trial than taking a plea? Not bothering to even pretend to be ashamed or contrite? And I read somewhere that when in discussions with Bribe Guy (Singer?) she was much more concerned about USC finding out about her buying her daughters' admission, than she was that the IRS would find out! Can't fix stupid, even with all that money to throw around.

Maybe it's the effect of having been on a sitcom like Full(er) House for so long, where everything gets wrapped up neatly at the end of the episode and there are no consequences to anything. She's waiting for the re-write of her script where it turns out it was all a prank by some guest star!

In her mind this is a "victimless" crime, meaning no one was killed, no one was physically hurt. This isn't a crime like murder or rape. That said, I would be very surprised if she received a lengthy prison sentence.

I have to say Martha Stewart was much more bearable after prison. So clearly it can lead to an attitude adjustment! I totally forgot the actual reason I came into the thread, she and her husband got hit with more charges. which HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I've read a few articles and haven't seen that Felicity got new charges too. So I guess taking the plea, along with a decent apology, helped

TMZ was right: Lori and her husband have just been indicted on additional money laundering charges, along with the 14 other parents who did not plea.
She's now looking at 57-71 months in prison instead of 24-30 months.

She's now looking at 57-71 months in prison instead of 24-30 months. I knew it. I knew that her lack of acting remorseful and getting this shit handled was going to backfire on them. The Daily Fail is reporting that Lori Loughlin is facing FORTY YEARS (!!!) with each sentence indictment being 20 years each. Do I think it'll be that long? Hell no. But you never can tell how long her and Mossimo will try and think they are above the law.

The 20 year maximum (per charge) is never going to happen. And two maximum sentences running consecutively instead of concurrently would also never happen. She's not a serial killer.
But part of the plea agreements Felicity and the others are getting is a recommendation from the prosecution that the judge sentence at the low end of the guidelines. Lori and her husband will definitely not be getting that recommendation if they go to trial.

The judge might still go easy on her. I hope she goes to prison. I can't imagine how much special treatment she and her husband have gotten over the years to result in her blatant "I can get out of this" demeanor.
If this were a member of my family he or she would already be deciding who takes care of the kids while he/she is in prison, and bankruptcy and loss of career would be automatic.
It's clear people like her have no fear of consequences.

The sad thing is she can totally construct a comeback if she expresses remorse and does an apology tour in the press.
She could be all, "My head was so far up my ass, I didn't even know it. I was a victim of my lifestyle. Just wanted the best for her daughters, blah blah cakes."
Wonder if her marriage will survive this.

Apparently, Lori has rejected the plea deal...so if that's the case, won't it go to trial? Total fools.
