He’s giving exclusives to People mag on attending his uncle’s funeral. What a swell guy. 🙄 There is no rock bottom for Harry.

I guess he’s keen to make it clear that at least *some* relatives still speak to him?
I guess it was his dastardly brother or wicked stepmother who leaked to People magazine about the Althorp stay. After all the Sussexes never leak!!!!

Well, someone has been floating trial balloons about Harry wanting to return to the fold and how he's been reaching out to old friends and aides to find a way to start low-key weaseling his way back into their good graces and doing minor events again. It's supposedly called "Operation Bring Harry in from the Cold." Of course, William kept his distance at the funeral and I think he will make sure that the doors stay shut and locked to Harry, so now the Sussex camp is refuting these stories to say Harry is looking forward, not backward, and loves his life in the U.S.
Sure he does.
Nothing is working out the way Harry & Meghan had planned. Netflix seems to be cutting ties, ARO can't get off the ground, staff are dropping like flies, their quasi royal "tours" are met with mostly criticism (as are their bids to win various awards), and Harry looks absolutely miserable playing the Spare to Meghan rather than his brother. The Hollywood elite they wanted to court by and large don't want to be associated with them and Harry's attempts to bump into William, be it at the funeral or in New York (which won't happen because William isn't coming) have been a waste of time.
Harry really didn't think any of this through. I'm sure the Firm has already mapped out multiple scenarios for how they will handle various potential situations that may arise with Harry & Meghan, but I don't see any way back for him in the near future. I keep holding out hope that their titles will be revoked, just to have more of a sense of finality to it and stop all the "will they, won't they" speculation.

Harry and Meghan don’t have talent and they don’t have eff you money to be the philanthropists they seemingly want to be. I’m not sure what their plan is short-term or even long-term.

I’m surprised the Kardashians aren’t wanting to collaborate with them

I’m surprised the Kardashians aren’t wanting to collaborate with them I don’t think The Sussex’s have anything the Kardashians need. The other way around…yes.

There have been a couple articles floating around claiming that Kris Jenner is now snubbing Meghan. Not sure whether that is true---she did help promote the jam a few months back.

The Telegraph (or more specifically Hannah Furness) had no less than 3 articles about Harry's upcoming 40th birthday and how he certainly doesn't want to go back to the UK, loves the US, isn't homesick at all and is blissfully happy in California. Sure, Jan. He/they do seem to periodically start trying to drum up support for a HIHO situation and there's an uptick in "they need the Sussexes" articles but when it gets shot down they always back track with more "never coming back, couldn't be happier with their lives" stuff. It's one of the clockwork things about them.

The way I look at it, this set up is better than she's ever had it. For him, this is the worst he's ever had it - financially, press control, general life status (he was a big shot prince!). He would probably love HIHO, she doesn't think they need it.

Very mixed messages indeed. You have the claim from royal commentator Kinsey Schofield that Meghan has some regrets about the way in which they left the family and how her interview with Oprah was received (she wanted the takeaway to be about mental health, they didn't mean to stir up a hornet's nest about a supposed royal racist, etc). Yet at the same time you have the story about Harry being open to coming back only if they receive a groveling apology from William (what a joke). Well...shouldn't Meghan also apologize about the comments she supposedly regrets? Instead, depending on whom you believe she is either about to double down with a memoir of her own, or she has truly moved on and just wants peace (does anyone believe this?), or she is upset and insulted that she didn't get a summer invite to Balmoral even though she never wants to set foot in England again, yet Harry wants to be able to bring his whole family over and actually the only issue (red herring) is security. What a mess.
Some articles suggest the Sussexes are well aware there is no way back for them in the near future, while others insinuate Harry is on a mission to reach out to old connections to try to develop a game plan to slowly get back into everyone's good graces. Because maybe a divorce is imminent...but that can't be possible because they are the happiest couple this side of the Atlantic.
Since I feel like the Sussex camp leaks like a sieve, I tend to think there are a lot of darts being thrown at the board to see what sticks. In part this is probably because most every venture they have tried their hand at has failed and they have to keep exploring options. But they certainly have to know that William stands in the way of any sort of return to the fold and I can't imagine a scenario in which he lets his guard down. Not with everything his brother has put him through, Charles and Kate's health issues being exacerbated by the stress of the Sussex situation, etc. The trust is gone, most likely forever. The faux royal tours certainly don't help matters and are rather insulting and embarassing. Harry can't even attend his uncle's funeral without briefing the press afterward. If Harry and Meghan think they are going to be able to get the public on their side again they have a looooong road ahead of them.
