Loved the pic of Trump, his idiot son, Musk, and Colonel Brainworms all eating McDonalds. I guess pasteurized milk is bad but a processed burger, fries and a Coke are OK with RFK Jr.

Two things- I have been on a blocking spree of any one on my TikTok FYP who is MAGA. Today, while waiting for my Target pick up order, a video came up from a creator who was commenting on the fact that this is being done by so many people that the MAGA side of TikTok thinks they're being "shadowbanned" because they aren't getting the same number of views. So many people are blocking these fools they're already losing money.
While I'm disgusted an appalled by everything going on and all the cabinet picks.. I'm trying to remember that I'm (at least for now) well insulated in MA. While I do have a job working for the state, it's federally funded, so I'm making sure my socials are all cleaned up. That's what I spent my downtime in Aruba doing last week just in case. I'll keep my mouth shut, but even I have my limits. If RFK Jr bans diet coke, I will storm his office and punch his brainworm

I just don't think so with regards to Kamala. That would be a very bitter pill to swallow and still, we may never be ready for a woman president. That might all hinge on how Gen Z and Alpha (and beyond) grow and learn from their ancestors. Buttigieg seems like one I really like, and he's considered a "regular gay" as Vance would like to call him (ugh.), so maybe that's something that would be "overlooked" compared to a woman. Newsom has been another one that I think has a possibility, too. Either way, they need to be male, VERY strong in appearance and their voice, be willing to have a massive game plan ready to go, and get a feel for what everyone is wanting in a president. Although, this may never come to fruition come 2028 -- we could be in a hellscape, but we shall see! |

It's primarily agricultural and relies on migrant/immigrant workers. You get what you voted for! Honestly, those communities are going to be so screwed. Maybe they'll stop blaming Newsom for everything and take a look at what Trump is doing? Newsom might actually be helpful in these matters (although, the whole water situation is irritating).

I thought ABC did a great job in that piece of explaining the ramifications of what Trump is planning on doing. I saw a similar report on CNN today. They both left me wondering why on earth both networks spent so much time during the campaign talking about polls and predicting the outcome of an election instead of showing reports like that to inform voters who had not thought about the policies in context like that.

Wouldn't migrant agricultural workers have H-2A visas? Is Trump going to suspend their visas or just deport people who've stayed over the 3-year maximum?
