My brothers say he is exactly like that. He's like the nice , sensitive guy next door who just happens to be rich andd famous.

I've never really been into his music (except for the song "Philadelphia") but have always liked him because of the good things I have heard about him.

It's such a rarity to have someone become that big and keep so humble. I love him for that.

I love Bruce (yes, I'm originally from NJ - born and raised in Atlantic City), and this makes me sad if it's true. I really liked Bruce and Patti together - 20 years. Wow.

However, if it's true about the 9/11 widow, then it sounds like he may have (hopefully) waited a long time before any involvement. America: A Tribute to Heroes aired only a week after the 9/11 attacks, so does this mean he got involved with her right away, or just recently? It sounds like he met her five years ago, so I'm wondering what point their involvment was. Of course, that doesn't make it less sad.

How old are their kids?

I never begrudge anyone moving on... but I hate it if there are little ones at home. I never blamed Brad Pitt for moving on - but let's just hope this guy doesn't get some free "He's entitled because he's a NICE GUY" pass.

Those are kind of rough ages. Just when you need both parents really keeping an eye on you.

Oh well .. let's hope it was mutual, this new woman is nice enough, and Patti doesn't come out with any "Why Bruce dumped me" books or magazine headlines.

About two months or so ago, either the Enquirer or Globe magazines (I swear, I do read other things!) published a photo of Bruce, Patti and the kids out shopping in NYC. It was the first photo I'd ever seen of the kids. They all seemed pretty happy together.

Oh, well. It seems they parted ways amicably and that's at least good news.

I just can't believe Bruce and Patti have been married for 20 years. I vividly remember this marriage to Julianne Phillips and the affair with Patti and it's making me feel incredibly old that 20 years have gone by since then.

Unless my math really sucks, it hasn't been 20 years. I think he married Julianne Phillips in '85 and started the affair with Patti a couple of years later. They had a baby around '89 or so and didn't get married until '90 or '91.
