It's sad. They both seem likeable. I do think I remember hearing that they were apart for some long stretches because of work. Whether you're from Hollywood or Peoria, that's got to add a lot of stress.

I of course had also read that they were constantly spending long times away from each other with work. I read that when they had a new article talking about their nice new apartment that they had recently decorated that would be their "home base" from then on. What good is all that niceness when the two people it is for aren't going to be together and according to kostgard hadn't been together in any real way for a long time?

As to why Hilary Swank is not in the tabs according to Paris Hilton it's because she is ugly and Lindsay Lohan concurred. Apparently, all three were shopping at a well known boutique and paps were pushing all over themselves trying to get pics of Paris and Lindsay and completely ignoring Hilary Swank who was right there. When asked by one reporter what Paris thought about it that's what she said. Stupid girl.

And those two assholes have room to talk? I think Hilary Swank is tons prettier than those two. She has a beautiful figure.

I think Hilary Swank is very engaging to look at. Not beautiful persay, but intriguing and interesting. Which is more than I can say for Skankolicious Paris Hilton (whom my best friend has a crush on, for whatever sick and twisted reasons of his own. His girlfriend and I have been trying to break him of that for a year!)

She was very believable as a dude in Boys Don't Cry, and yet she can also look quite feminine and pretty. I'm not sure if that is great acting on her part (I haven't seen Million Dollar Baby), or just a by-product of her facial features.

She's kind of chameleon-like, sort of a Meryl Streep or Gary Oldman.

How terrible that she and Chad are splitting up. I would have never thought that that would happen to those two.

As for her looks, she isn't exactly pretty, but her personality just makes you forget that she isn't a looker. Although I will say she has a beautiful hourglass figure. That body should be praised dammit. Lindsay Lohan's former meaty yet curveless body was praised, why hasn't Hilary's?

I think Paris Hilton is just UGLY. Not only is she phoney but she's got creepy rat like features. The woman isn't physically appealing AT ALL.
Hilary Swank has kind of a funky mouth but to me she projects a warmth and vulnerability that really makes her pretty. (There were times in "Boys Don't Cry" where I honestly thought her vulnerability made her beautiful.) Plus she's got expressive eyes and a rockin' body. Two things that skanky Hilton sorely lacks.

I just watched a few interviews of HS that are included on the "Million Dollar Baby" DVD. She really comes across as an intelligent normal likable person. Not just by Hollywood standards (where someone like Jennifer Aniston seems nice and normal but compared to the rest of America is kind of flakey). No. She just seems like an honest to goodness decent, intelligent person. Like someone you could actually be FRIENDS with.
Sad to hear about her and Chad Lowe.

Hey! Salukis are actually very beautiful, elegant dogs. Paris Hilton looks more like a weasel with a weave.

On topic, all I have is that I was yelling, "Shut up already!" at her during her Best Actress speech last year.

Oh lord, me too. That and the "I'm just a girl from the trailer park" act was pissing me off. Because I might have an easier time buying that if you hadn't already won an Oscar. You're a Hollywood player now, so can it, sweetheart. You thanked your mother after the editor. You needed time to thank "your best friend and publicist." Nice try, but no.

Do I think she's talented? Yes. Do I think she should have that second statuette? Probably not. And I say that without having seen M$B, I just think there are quite a good deal of equally talented actress who need their *first* statue (I'll be obvious and say Winslet).

Well, it's a bit of a love fest here, but I'm breaking it up! I think she's skinny, ugly, and annoying (I'd say the same for Paris, times twelve). Her simple country girl routine kind of freaks me out, and the kiss on the mouth with Clint at the Oscars was just creepy. And the teeth...it's like she was the model for Hilary Swank's cosmetic dentistry. I can't stand her. On the other hand, he seems like a really sweet guy, so too bad it didn't work out.

I'm definitley checking on old BIs about soon to be split couples...
