Sadly, today is Robbie's birthday, and an addiction to prescription drugs isn't really the best birthday present.

Oh that is sad. I just heard he was back in rehab, but I didn't know it was his birthday today. I hope he sorts himself out OK this time around.

I was thinking the same but then again, it's been more than ten years since then. What happened then obviously upsets him and he can't get over it which becomes clear watching those Take That reunion interview where he talked about it. That documentary was so sad. The way he wished he had what Gary Barlow has (wife, kids and a beautiful home) instead of winning one award after another....
Maybe the whole Take That comeback story pushed him over the edge this time. They're really successful and clearly having a great time, without him (due to his own decision). At first people were wondering if they could make it without Robbie and now they are and they all look so happy.
I don't know. I wish him all the best and that he will get through this. If Robbie Williams checks into rehab, things must be bad.

That's exactly it. I hope he'll come out of this okay, but sadly I think that if he gets treatment and come out on the other side without so many issues and insecurities, a lot of his talent will be gone with it. I hope not, but I fear that may be the tragic paradox.

And that's 36 double-espressos, not just coffee coffee. He must have a really strong heart because that's just plain crazy. I don't think Britney drinks all that much, she just looks like she does.


ETA: Why would he take sleeping pills if he drank all that coffee & red bull? He didn't want to give up his addicitions so he found the solution through another one, pills. No wonder he's so messed up.

What really twisted me about this guy is his timing. 1 day after the Grammys. Right before the Brit Awards! He was trying to steal the headlines from the music industry
s big events.

His records SUCKED! so he decided to try to take the spotlight by going into rehab. I'm not buying this bullshit stint/stunt

Are the Grammy results big in the UK? Just wondering because it seems most in the US don't know/care about the Brit Awards (that's the UK music awards, right?). Since most people in the US don't really know who Robbie is, his going to rehab wasn't a big deal here.

Guh? Sorry, I really don't see how him going into rehab is an attempt to steal headlines from Grammy news.
According to his Mum, he 'gave himself the best possible birthday present' by entering rehab.

If he keeps popping out of rehab to get coffee, buy a car, and generally milk publicity, a la Lohan, maybe you can suggest hes doing rehab as a career move, but I dont think its for any reason other than to get well.

Didnt Robbie go into rehab after he went all bonkers post-TT, pre-Angels?
