I'm going to miss Jon Stewart so much. I think Trevor Noah will do great, but wow, over the last 16 years Stewart really made his mark.

This man kept me sane during endless nights of nursing three insomniac babies. He was literally my lifeline to the world when I was a complete zombie from lack of sleep. I will always love him for helping me feel like a intelligent human being at a time when very little else was helping me in that endeavor.

It's hard to imagine the Presidential election season without Jon. I figured he was getting close to retiring, but I was hoping he'd wait until after the election to do so.

I think that's why he chose to get out now. I think their election cycle coverage is exhausting and burns everyone out. (It tends to burn me out as a viewer too.) And he's *already* burned out. I can understand the decision, from a personal and professional standpoint, to hand it over to someone new and energetic. |

I'm exhausted already from the GOP debate and the travesty and embarrassment of American politics by Donald Trump. I'm checking out of all of it until it gets closer to election time.
