I love the Daily Show. It's going through a rough period now, IMO, but I watch it every night nonetheless. I've had a few encounters with Jon (one where he was kind of jerky and one where he was an absolute sweetheart). One of my good friends used to intern at TDS, but she didn't have a great experience there. She's a PA at SNL now and she likes it better there. That always blows my mind. How can you be friends with someone who prefers Horatio Sanz to Jon Stewart? Very mysterious.

This is an interesting article. I was always luke-warm on his Crossfire appearance and I'm more so now that I know he had been on Hannity and Colmes and didn't say a damn thing about their "debate" show. Oh, Jon.

I love Jon and watch his show every night. I'm concerned, though, by increasing rumours he's a bit of an asshat. I always imagined him as a really nice guy but now I don't know anymore.

He seems more relaxed lately, and sillier. I love it when he starts to crack up. (Ted Hitler -- "I can't look at you since you said that..." Hee!) I wonder if someone staged an intervention and told him that he was taking himself too seriously! Or perhaps he had PETS (post-election trauma syndrome). I can tell you from experience, the treatment for that took several months.

Well, I had some run-ins with Jon back in the early/mid 90s. We actually had some mutual musician friends and I'd quite often end up at some of the same parties that Jon was attending.

While Jon was always nice, he was quite the little slut and would pretty much Hoover up any drugs in his path. The only bad story I heard about him was from a girl who slept with him (again, 1995-ish) and he then pretended not to know her at a party a week later. /shrug

I always have to chuckle when I see him on TDS, knowing some of the antics I witnessed him involved in about 10 - 11 years ago. Good times.

THE Daily Show" comic Jon Stewart (above) wasn't smiling yesterday when he arrived at the Central Park precinct to secure the release of his wife, Tracey Lynn Stewart, 37. Cops pulled her over for driving her black Land Rover on the Park Drive when it was closed to traffic, and arrested her when they learned her license was suspended.

I'm sorta glad I didn't meet him back ten years ago. I have an incredible weakness for funny, yet what turn out to be immature, guys. I totally would have been the girl he snubbed a week later and I would have been crushed.

A friend of a friend dated him in the early 90's and she said he was "crazy hung." Just a little gossip. Height can be deceiving, ladies.
