I feel so bad for those kids. Their parents are monsters.

Another story I read said the 911 call involved a report of Brooke beating the kids (in addition to the nanny, I guess) and one of the kids said, "Don't call the cops, they'll take my mommy away!" So either the kids are traumatized from having their mother taken away before, or Brooke has ingrained it in them that if they ever call for help when she's out of control that she will be taken away. Awful.

I wish they would take away her parental rights and keep her away from the kids permanently. I know she's mentally ill, but somebody needs to start putting the wellbeing of the kids above what she wants.

Those poor kids must be near-feral. If they're already in such bad shape that Denise can't care for them safely, what will happen when Charlie finally runs through his money?

The whole situation is a trainwreck. If either of them had cared about the boys, they'd have signed custody over to Denise Richards years ago. She was willing to take the boys on then, when few other people would have.

But Denise eventually requested that the boys be removed from her custody because they were violent and were harming her other children and pets - and Brooke was refusing to let them get therapy. I think Denise would have been willing to keep them if the court had overridden Brooke and allowed the kids to get treatment for their emotional problems. Unfortunately, the court sided with Brooke and Denise had to do what was best for her other kids.

Yeah, I only found out about this info recently. Wow. Just...wow.

Denise isn't perfect, but one doesn't have to speculate whether her daughters will grow up to be serial killers. [kidding/not kidding]

IIRC Denise told the court that when the boys came back to her household from visits with their mother (allegedly being "supervised" by Brooke's family members), they were showing signs of physical abuse and that's when they would act out violently. Brooke was able to prevent the boys from seeing a therapist - presumably because it would uncover what was really going on when they were in her care. It's unbelievable that this woman was able to get her way and get custody of those kids.

Ugh, I know that family reunification is the ideal goal when it comes to social services, and I'm not saying Brooke didn't deserve a chance or three to get her act together and be a good a mother. However by the time those boys were living with Denise, Brooke had had 101 opportunities to get it together and yet she was still able to torpedo what was in all likelihood the best living situation Max and Bob had ever been in. Denise, the only one in this mess who has shown herself to be stable and responsible, should have been able to put those poor boys in whatever therapy she saw fit. The fact that Brooke was able block it demonstrated that Max and Bob's well being has been sacrificed for Brooke's right to be a terrible mother.

Check out the letter Denise wrote to DCFS about why she had to give up caring for the twins. Those boys really don't stand a chance.

ETA- I love how Denise didn't get any financial support for the boys. Brooke did, but apparently kept it for herself.

I know we are not supposed to wish harm on anyone, but if something were to happen to Brooke I would give a standing O. Bitch is worthless. Charlie is actually a better parent than she is? Jesus.
