Apparently her BFF will be staring in the new "Ladies of London", which is kind of like The Real Housewives franchise.
I'm totally side-eyeing her for this.

I really don't think this is a big deal, it would be if it was Kate's BFF but no one outside of those who follow royalty really know who Mary is anyways.

Exactly, it is her friend not Mary and it shouldn't ruffle any feathers, the Danes seem pretty chill when it comes to their royal family.

For better or worse, I side eye anyone who lives their lives in front of the cameras- especially if their shows are filled with manufactured drama. I don't think any of them coming off looking particularly well. And I just find that their values are different than mine. The fact that Mary's best friend is a reality show stalwart makes me shrug my shoulders. I can't see any other crown princess having a best friend on a drama-filled Real Housewives type of show. But apparently that's just me.

I follow royalty somewhat, my mother has bought every royalty magazine you can imagine for the last 35 years and it seems that the Danes are the ones that have the most tolerance for their royal family. They are really a sense of pride for them to the point that they turn the blind eye to any behavior so I can't see this being a problem for Mary. I find it interesting really that for such a modern country they have such an old fashioned view of their monarchy.

Eh, we all have friends who do odd things. I roll my eyes about signing up for anything RHO-related, but Mary isn't responsible for her friend's choices.

It's very sad but since he had dementia, it may be a blessing. I am mad at Daily Fail more than usual as they are already trying to kill off Queen Margrethe so Mary can be Queen. Ahem, Mary will never be Queen. I believe Freddie is the heir, not Mary.

Ahem, Mary will never be Queen. I believe Freddie is the heir, not Mary. Mary will be queen when Fred takes the throne. She will be queen consort not queen regnant, but she still gets the title. My first thought when I heard of Henrik's death was that he was really screwing up Fred's year by doing it during the Olympics, since the Olympic Committee is one of the few things Fred does (at least last time I checked). |
