Love. him.
Though Nascar isn't my thing and I don't know if I want to see his new movie.

I normally hate comedians who appear to always be "on" (like Robin Williams and Jim Carrey) but for some reason I just like Will. Exactly! I feel the same way. I guess "Old School" seems like more of his breakout movie to me, but I adored "Elf", and "Anchorman" killed me - after I bought the DVD, I had to stop the movie a couple of times to compose myself ( I mentioned in the "Talladega Nights" thread how I humiliated myself laughing like a hyena on a flight from San Fran to NY when "Anchorman" was the in-flight movie!). I just love the guy - to me he's always been funny, and I loved him back on SNL!

Love. him. Though Nascar isn't my thing and I don't know if I want to see his new movie. I think the fact that I am not AT ALL into Nascar and the culture that tends to go with it, (and I'm playing it pretty fast and loose with the term "culture" here...) is why I think I will LOVE this movie. I think it will be one of those movies that just gets funnier the more you watch it (Dodgeball, Anchorman). You guys are spot on when you mention how he doesn't have to be "on" when he's on a talk show. He's a normal human being with no apparent demons and he seems to be happy with his life. Once in a while, he will make an appearance on a show and turn on the funny but it's usually for an audience that truly appreciates his humor. When he was still on SNL, he would go on The Conan O'Brien Show and shamelessly parade around half nude, or go on as Robert Goulet. He can do no wrong in my eyes.

That Harry Carey hosting a Science show is probably my favorite Will Farrell skit. Jeff Goldblum's reactions are perfect too.

I am so looking forward to Talladega Nights, I'm already planning to see it while the family's on vacation next week, and I never go to the movies.
I'll love him forever for his Alex Trebek. The Celebrity Jeopardy skits can almost make me forgive SNL for the cheerleader skits.

Straight shot right to the baby maker! My friends and I try to use "You ate the whole wheel of cheese? I'm not even mad. That's amazing." at least once a day.
Old School and Anchorman slay me every time I watch them. I can't waaaaaiit for Talladega Nights.

Guy is funny as hell. He makes me laugh my ass off. Anchorman is great, and he gave alot of good oneliners. "SWEET GRANDMOTHER'S SPATULA!" ...But I think Steve Carell stole that movie. I loved Will the best on SNL. Jeopardy, cowbell skit, his skit with the store Jeffrey's - makes me crack up. Oh, and also, GET OFF THE SHED!

"GET OFF THE DAMN SHED!" gets "screamed" a lot around the Sunnyhorse household -- that sketch was hysterical.

For me it's "I drive a Dodge Stratus!" I use it during heated discussion if I want to change the subject.
