I don't know why, but this made me laugh until I cried. Can I put it in my sig, Jensational? It's genius.

The "I DRIVE A DODGE STRATUS!" sketch was done as a "project scene" in my high school drama class, so that was the class catchphrase. My brother also did the Robert Goulet "Coconut Bangers Ball--It's a Rap!" (from my avatar) as his monologue/final in that class. He dressed up like Goulet and everything.
I hadn't seen all of the sketches in the "top ten." I was wishing for some celebrity Jeopardy! or the "lovahs," and the "GET OFF THE SHED" was funny enough, but it wasn't that great. On the other hand, I thought the "H. is O." sketch flat-out sucked. How is that funnier than Will Ferrell as a hepatitis-ridden drifter who poses nude? Or the guy who "shows his patriotism" by wearing an American flag thong to the office!?

This was on last night! E! showed Part 2 of Will Ferrell's funniest moments on SNL. You gotta love a guy who'd parade around in that half-shirt and thong and not even break into laughter, unlike Horatio Sans who couldn't stop laughing the entire time.
Elf was on again last night, too. Because of this thread, I watched it again. God, he's so sweet and funny in that movie.

I absolutely love the "YOU ON THE PHONE AGAIN, BITCH?!" sketch. My dad actually took to yelling that randomly around the house after he saw it.

"I Drive a Dodge Stratus" was actually my email signature for awhile because.....I drove a Dodge Stratus at the time. I am sure that very few recipients got it.
I did not agree with the Top 10 either. Several of them were spot on, but to omit Celebrity Jeopardy! is wrong.

How about the lovaaaaahs sketch with Rachel Dratch? Cracks my shit up. Can't forget about the cowbell. One of my favorites! The one with them in the hot tub at the Wolverton Inn eating spiced lamb shanks cracks me up. Every once in a while my boyfriend will hug me and ask if I want to eat "spiced laaamb shaaanks".

One of my favorite seldom mentioned skits was when Vince Vaughn was a guest. They were executives at a cat toy company and they were trying really hard to be hard ass salesmen trying to figure out how to sell these cat toys, and watching Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn play like little kitty-cats was priceless.

One of my favorite sketches was one where he was a doctor who lost a couple's baby. The sketch was so bizarre, and so random, that it's absolutely hysterical.
I still say, "Son of a Vondruke!" and "A palomino... why, they're beautiful!" like, 700 times a day.

Most of his movies I can take or leave, but he was great on SNL -- never afraid to make an ass of himself in the pursuit of funny -- and, after reading in the Chevy Chase thread how Ferrell wished he'd walked out of the meeting where Chase told a female writer she should give him a hand job, I figure he's probably a pretty decent guy.
