I always liked her and find myself cheering her on.

Are they filming this on the same stage as Ellen's show? Because it looks almost identical.

Is she going to fully follow Kelly Clarkson and open each show with a cover of a popular song?

If she does, it’s at least one reason to watch another insipid talk show. None of these talk shows need be in existence. Kelly is no innovator in daytime talk & Jennifer won’t be either. Having said that I like them both and root for them to earn steady paychecks!

I don't care one way or the other about Jennifer, although she seems genuinely kind (and has a sad backstory).

I cannot stand Kelly Clarkson. Her performing covers at the start of every episode makes me cringe. 😂

1) it wasn't magical, and

2) you can be a charismatic public figure and be a terrible talk show host.

I though we learned our lesson in the 1990s!

It gets worse if you watch Magic's relentless brown-nosing of his celebrity guests ; [Howard Stern roasting Magic on one episode, including a gross dig on his HIV+ status; wasting the immense talent of Sheila E.; AND the complete lack of rapport with his sidekick, professional stand-up comedian, Craig Shoemaker.
