I'm suprised Anne Heche can afford $45,000 a month in spousal support. She's not exactly a major star. I remember reading that Jim Carrey was paying $40,000 a month to his ex-wife and he's a lot richer than Anne Heche will ever be. I don't think Coley will be getting that kind of money.
And yes, "Coley Faffoon" and "Homer Laffoon" are the worst names on the planet.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I assume the standard approach to alimony is making really huge demands, and then settling later in negotations? If so, asking for $45,000/mo sounds like a deliberately inflated figure, so that Coley & his lawyer can then bargain for something less but still in the ballpark of maybe $30-35K.

Yes, it definately makes sense to ask for more than you expect, but still, this is Anne Heche. I think even $30,000 a month is a ridiculous amount to expect.

Speaking of exposing the kid to stuff, what's wrong with letting the kid participate in poker games? As long as the adults watch their language -- or is Anne pretending she's conservative religious now and objects to gambling?
The amount of money he wants is ridiculous, especially since he's basing it on her current salary. She's not going to be making $80,000 an episode for the rest of her life. TV shows only last for a few years and a mid-40s ex-TV star is not going to have a lot of career opportunities.
