Perez got the scoop. She's pregnant and engaged. More pics with her fiancé.

That could explain that picture of her in the ugly thread looking a bit heavier in her face. Granted, there was no excuse for her looking like my mom circa 1991, but still.
I'm so sad. She was going to have my child! But congrats to her - she seems very level-headed and intelligent, I think she'll make a good parent.
But I didn't even know she was dating anyone!
ETA: She's one of my favorite actresses - Frida was a stellar movie and she was wonderful in it. I know she never had a shot, but she deserved that Oscar.

That first photo, of her looking hugely pregnant in the purple dress - was that for a role? Or is the wind just blowing her dress out? Or is it totally Photoshopped? Because she cannot be that far along, right?
Salma is just stunning. I think she always looks gorgeous. But her fiance looks a bit skeevy to me. [/judgmental]

This picture of Salma reminds me of Katie. Congrats to her. I think she is beautiful, genuine and smart. But on a completely shallow note- what is it with these billionaires? Do they buy amazing personalities or charm? What is it? Flavio Briatore got Heidi Klum, this guy, Steven Bing got Liz Hurley and Nicole Kidman and now Arun Nyar (sp?) is with Hurley and that ugly dude who was with Victoria Silvstead this summer. I just don't believe that these women find the men attractive. I think they are attracted (at first at least) to the big bucks and then they get swoonish. Convince me otherwise. Best of luck to Salma though. I do like her and hope it works out for her. I am a little tired of all the babies before weddings in Hollywood (and I'm not some right wing fundy). ETA: So I found this: He's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PPR. PPR owns brands like Gucci Bottega Veneta Yves Saint Laurent YSL Beauté Balenciaga Boucheron Sergio Rossi Alexander McQueen Stella McCartney ******Um....I think I'm in love***** Perez's pics.

These men exude the aphrodisiac called power (through $$$) that is more attractive than their physical appearance to many successful women.
I am glad that Salma found someone to have a family with, now will they move onto marriage or just be perpetually engaged??

I knew it! Her boobs were looking way fuller than normal. Boy, they are going to be massive.
Her fiance looks old and skeevy. I can't believe he gets to have sex with her.

I really love her. She seems smart, funny and well-adjusted---and despite the fact that it sort of annoys me when non-toothpick women do the whole, "I look like a woman! Curves are fabulous! I'm sooooo very comfortable with my body" (just because it seems a little TOO protested) it doesn't really bother me with her, because I think it's probably true in her case. Anyone see "Searching for Debra Winger"? Fantastic film by Rosanna Arquette about women and their struggle with juggling family/career and fighting ageism in Hollywood. Salma was so well-spoken and dead-on in her assessments, that I will love her forevermore. I didn't think either way about her before, but since then, have started reading her interviews and following her career. And she deserves undying praise, in my opinion, for giving us Ugly Betty.
