Wow, good point about the MwC cast. Modern Family reruns are one of my go-to "put on in the background" shows and Ed O'Neill is just so, so funny in it. You totally forget he was Al Bundy.
As to Christina, I hope her MS is a mild case. My cousin was diagnosed 20 years ago and so far, so good as far as symptoms.

When it originally aired, I drifted away from it during Season 5, but rewatched while WFH. All 11 seasons were great. Now that I work in my bedroom with no coworkers, Modern Family, Park and Rec and Scrubs have been keep me company. Unlike real-life office mates, I can mute them when they are annoying.

Breast cancer and MS is more than one person's share of health problems to have in a lifetime. I hope it's not too rough on her. She's only 49. I love Dead to Me, and will binge Season 3 as soon as it comes out, although it looks like that will be delayed. I was thinking the other day that it's been about 30 years, but the cast of Married With Children have almost all redeemed themselves. That was such a repugnant show, everyone involved was deeply tainted in my eyes. I have forgiven Christina because of Dead to Me. I have forgiven Ed O'Neill because of Modern Family. I have forgiven Katey Sagal just for being around and being cool. Verdict's out on David Faustino. I always thought David Faustino had comedic talent, shame he didn't find another vehicle after MwC. Katey Sagal has got to be one of the busiest actresses who never broke into the official A-list category. She has been in a million hit shows, but she doesn't have that superstar level of fame. Also, there was a lot about that show that was awful, but it was a talented cast and managed to have some genuine humor despite it all. I think if the same show were made with a more subtle hand and less broad crassness, it could have been really good. So sorry to hear about Christina's new health issues, I have always had a soft spot for her. She singlehandedly saved that Vacation remake from being complete dreck. MS is one of those diseases that can affect people so differently. Some people end up in wheelchairs and other people show almost no signs. I know one lady who runs like 5 miles a day, she says she needs to or her symptoms flare. And then I know someone else whose entire left side is basically frozen. I think how well you take care of yourself plays a role and that should work in her favor.

IMO, her best role is Veronica Corningstone. "Take me to pleasure town!" "That smells like a diaper full of Indian food" Her reaction to Ron's jazz flute also cracks me up.

Thank you for bring this up--Dead to Me is such a great performance that I'd forgotten how wonderful she is in Anchorman. It has been really satisfying to watch Kelly Bundy transform into the actress she is now. Katey Segal was on WTF with Marc Maron in the past year and I recommend giving it a listen. She is a really fascinating person and she and Marc hit it off so it was a great interview.

"The dishes are DONE man!" I vividly remember seeing this movie in the theater and coveting Christina's fancy updo in the workplace scenes. I even bought some kind of banana clip-esque contraption that was supposed to help you get your hair into a rolled updo but it naturally did not give me that same look.

Are you by chance referring to the Topsy Tail? I had one of those. After I inverted my pony tail with a Topsy Tail, I secured it with a large scrunchie I had made in Home Ec.
