I never thought I'd hear her say that she had a double mastectomy. That takes some serious guts.

I'm happy to hear that she's 100% cancer free and I hope she has a great support system to get through the emotional and physical scars that come with all of this. It sounds like she's got her mom, who seems like a total star.

A double mastectomy is hardcore! Good for her in taking control.

I'm surprised she didn't opt for reconstruction immediately. I understand the reasoning, but I know I just wanted everything done and over with. One major surgery and smaller ones to make sure the girls were the same size and level.

Aw, man. I just read about all that she's gone through. She must be one gutsy gal - that is a huge decision to make and it must be a difficult one when you are only 36, AND you work in an industry where appearance is everything and all ladies must look "sexy."
