After reading many of the reviews via rottentomatoes.com, I'm sensing that perhaps Jessucka is the watershed event of our country turning back toward feminism, because even the most seemingly-curmodgeonly male critics are complaining about her do-nothing sexpot vapidity.
Thank you, God.

To my luck I had managed to escape 99% of the news/promos about this movie up until today. I finally saw a short trailer on TV of Jessucka saying something, that I didn't even remember five minutes later (way to make the trailer memorable dumbasses!) in the most horrid southern accent, ever. That's all I remember about it. Even if I had any desire to see this (which I don't), if she sounds anything like that during the rest of the movie it's a performace I'd be embarassed just watching.

They just showed a few seconds of it tonight on either Extra or Entertainment Tonight and the complete distain on Kelly's face was soooo obvious and hilarious. She wasn't even trying to pretend to take her seriously. She was just all "How much longer do I have to put up with this dipshit?"

Wow. DoH opened up #1 at the box office with $30.6 million. I guess all the promotion worked.

There was no competition. Charlie and the Chocolate factory and the Wedding Crashers, both have been out for weeks. Really not the promotion. Just nothing better to see, and people have probably seen both movies.

Plus, considering that it opened in over 3700 theatres, is 30 million really that spectacular?

I'm sure March of the Penguins continued to gross more per theatre. Coincidentally, I'm sure a penguin could've outacted Jessica.
I'd be interested to know what the marketing budget was for this.

Plus, considering that it opened in over 3700 theatres, is 30 million really that spectacular? not at all. It did the best out of what's there...but it did nothing to end the box office's floundering sales.

Did anyone see this movie? People are talking about her vedio washing a car that vedio is not for young girls to see, Jessica is not a role model for young teens.

You know they are going to talk sequals if this film continues to make a lot of money. But on the bright side, the studio expected it to be in the 30 million dollar range, so at least it didn't rise above expectations.
